HP Beats Special Edition 23-n001na All-in-One Desktop PC

Hi guys,

I've had an issue when installing a new operating system on my HP Beats Special Edition 23-n001na All-in-One Desktop PC, when installing Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 LTS over Ubuntu Server 18.04 it was installing Ubuntu Desktop fine but then needed to reboot. As soon as it reboots it got stuck on the HP logo. It shows a POST display when trying to enter the BIOS and other settings which I will provide an image for. If I press the Windows key + B it beeps 8 times on a blank screen and then hangs. If I plug in a USB with recovery software it shows the same POST screen but shows the update version and date of the BIOS update on the USB stick, it does not apply it though.

Does anyone know what this screen is? Someone told me it is a POST screen display the computer components, I'm not sure why I can't enter the BIOS as a result though! I've tried removing the CMOS battery, switching the RAM into the 2nd slot and neither of those helped, though it does seem to recognise when I removed the CMOS battery saying the Date & Time was reset, though the BIOS is still inaccessible. The Hard drive definitely isn't the issue either as I've tried two, both which work on other machines but it doesn't boot into them at all. I'm honestly so lost on how to solve this issue or if it is solvable at all.

The strangest thing about this is the PC has a feature in which if you press the HDMI button on the side you can change the HDMI output to an input for it to be used as a secondary display. This function still works, though the touchscreen and sound doesn't work though I'm not sure if it ever did work when using it as a second monitor for another device. Nonetheless, the fact this feature is still usable is odd but maybe it's because it has nothing to do with the BIOS itself?

Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated. If anyone recognises that screen and what it actually is and how to bypass it that would be a great help!
