HP Compaq 6735s
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello. Yesterday I updated the BIOS on my old HP Compaq 6735s, going from F.00 to F.21. I used eRompaq on FreeDOS. After the BIOS update the computer won't start anymore. It powers on fine, both on AC and battery power, but nothing displays on the screen with no beeping nor LEDs blinking. I unfortunately don't have the recovery partition on my hard drive anymore, but pressing Windows + B during startup tells me there's still life inside the laptop, as the Caps Lock LED starts blinking. Is there a way of recovering the BIOS somehow, or I just need to buy a new laptop?
