Product: HP Compaq nx7010
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Good morning HP Community, 

my dear old Compaq nx7010 served me well for many years. But one day after I pressed the power button, it didn't turn on. Laptop was being charged from the grid and the only thing that happened was that the "charging indicator light" shined for few seconds and then disappeared into darkness. This laptop is not (of course) my work machine, it's just a thing of nostalgia. However, I don't want to lose it because it has enormous "fan" value for me. Before I disassemble it, I just wanted to ask, if you ever had similar problem to mine. I would be pleased to hear any advices from you. Here's what it does after connection to power cord =
