HP Recommended
DX9000
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I have searched these boards and noticed plenty of people with similar video related issues as me but no clear answer as to the cause. Once I power up the computer the HP splash screen appears with no issues, within 10 seconds the screen will start to flicker slightly and gradually increase before the entire screen goes black. From power-up to black screen is approximately 15 seconds or less. Based on recommendations I found here, I have replaced the power inverter (no luck) and secondly the motherboard since  it has the video chip embedded on it (no luck). I have looked for signs of overheating on the MB components and wiring (no luck) and replaced the thermal paste on the video chip and processor (no luck). I'm virtually at a standstill since I have gone through every recommendation mentioned here and do not want to throw out this computer. The only other possibility that has come to mind is the LVDS cable going from the MB to the screen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
