Hello,

i registered to this for this specific problem which i can't see over the internet.

Im upgrading our HP notebook and HP desktop PC's from win7 to win10.

Before and After upgrading to win10, i run HP UEFI Diagnostics which is very helpful to detect if our pc's have hardware failure which cause most of the issue on the slow performance of the unit.

lately the 3 last HP Notebook the i had cleanly install win10 had display issue on HP UEFI Diagnostics.

i reinstalled the HP UEFI Diagnostic but still had display issue. i tried also to install HP UEFI Diagnostics on USB Device but same issue occurs.

see below snapshot for reference. hope someone could help me. TIA!

UPDATE:

issue is from  HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Version 7.9.0.0

i had already fixed it by downgrading the HP Diagnostic UEFI Version.

Solution 1:  Since i can't downgrade the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Version by just running the old version.

i reinstalled the OS then installed HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Version 7.6.0.0 which i downloaded here: https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c06180396

Solution 2: Installed the  HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Version 7.6.0.0 then run on the affected unit.

Solution 3: if you encountered the same issue as mine and don't want to use external storage device or reinstall your windows OS. from other unit with working HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Version , you need to copy the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Files on its EFI Partition

Step 1: log in as local administrator on working unit

Step 2: run "cmd" as administrator

Step 3: mount EFI Partition by typing "mountvol x: /s"

Step 4: Browsse the EFI Partition mounted in drive X: and find the HP folder

Step 5: copy the HP folder to an external storage

Step 6: do step 1-4 on affected unit

Step 7: replace HP folder with the one you copied.

END, you may test now if its working.
