HP Docking Station / 6570b Probook
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi there,

So I am trying to connect my laptop to a KVM switch that outputs to dual monitors.

That doesn't work, so I've gone back to the basics.

Items I have;

HP Probook 6570b

HP Docking station with 90w adaptor

Assorted DVI & Displayport cables

I can connect the displayport (From Docking station) straight to a monitor & that works fine.  When I connect a DVI-D (From Docking station) straight to the monitor - that does not work.  I know VGA works, however I don't want to use this as all the ports on the KVM switch are digital (DVI-D).  I have updated the most up-to-date video card drivers but now running out of ideas.  Anyone had this problem before?

I am running Win 7 64bit and the KVM switch (although not yet used in the above scenario is a ATEN CS1642A switch).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!
