Hello

After posting many post about the fact I couldn't find out the time remaining with my battery, I installed two third party software to do this job (the bios update for this Elitebook does not have the option to activate "remaining time").

I've been using this PC for two weeks and I can not get more than 5h30 of autonomy. HP adverts up to 16 hours.

Reading different reviews and user comments, I should get at least 8-9 hours using Internet, Word and Excel.

I have followed the instructions provided by HP - no isssue in particular.

Here is what shows both software I'm using.

As you can see, I can not get to the 56mW capacity announced by HP for this battery 49.4mw

The max time of the batterie is 5:22minutes !!

So I wonder what's wrong with this PC (I have two identical Elitebook and both have the same issue). Is there any reason related to my PC's issues explaining why HP does not activate the remaining time option in the bios.

thanks for your comments

patrice
