Hello all. So I'm trying to help a user that we have. Her touchpad and the top and bottom buttons suddenly stopped working. So far I've updated the Synaptics Touchpad Driver (in device manager) and I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the driver (from control panel). Both of this didn't fix the issue. The TouchStyk and TouchPad tabs are also missing on her Mouse Propetries.

Also, another thing I've noticed is that when touching the touchpad, the laptop's backlight still turns on which means that the touchpad is being detected.

Any ideas on what might be causing the issue and any possible fixes you guys can recommend me trying?

Thank you!
