Product: Elitebook 840 g4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an elitebook 840 g4 that has keyboard issues. I am going to replace the keyboard, I've removed the old one and the part number is 819877-031 however I've also seen other parts advertised on ebay for this laptop which  have the part # 819877-001.

 

Would the latter part number be compatible or must I buy the exact same? They do look identical. Getting hold of the keyboard with the exact part number is more difficult and expensive.

 

Please advise.
