HP Recommended
Product: HP Elitebook 8460p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Can the replace battery for the HP Elitebook 8460p use either a CC06 cell battery or a CC09 cell battery? The recommended battery replacement is an HP part#628370-341 but online I'm finding OEM HP replacement batteries with the correct laptop compatibility numbers but they offer either a 6 cell or a 9 cell  and I wanted to know what the difference would be as to the operation of the laptop with the 6 cell or the 9 cell. Another words can either one be used and if so how would it impact the laptop battery performance.
