HP Recommended
9470M
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a home office with dual displays and a HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station. From the docking station, I am running two Display Port to DVI cables to each monitor. When docking my HP 9470m, I am unable to extend the displays, mirroring occurs on each monitor. When I unplug one of the Display Port cables from the dock and plug it into the side Display Port on the actual computer, the displays extend as expected.

When I dock a different HP laptop, 840 G3 for example with the display port cables each plugged into the dock, the external displays extend as expected. I have read that there was a significant change after the 9470m model with regards to the graphics that might explain the situation above. I am wondering if someone could confirm that this is the case or recommend something for the 9470m that could be upgraded to remedy this issue. Selected computer specs below.

Thank you,
