Elitebook x360 1030 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am wondering if anyone has had any success imaging the new HP Elitebook x360 1030 G8.

We have previously used the G2, G3 and G4 without any issues but I am having problems imaging the G8.

The image cuts out at the joining the domain stage so I suspected a the nic driver. I have added in the driver pack, there is currently only one available for this model. It is missing a few drivers or some are outdated so I also used the HP Image Assistant to get any others and added them in.

I saw a suggestion on a similar issue about adding in a delay and a manual domain join which I tried but this hasnt helped.

The most frustrating thing about this is maybe 1 in every 5 attempts work. Without changing anything the occasional one does go the whole way.

My devices use HP Docks when imaging, I use the same two (slightly different generation models) and have the same issue on both and it sometimes works on both. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with this model and if so if they can remember if they had to do anything specific.

Cheers
