I received an Elitebook 850 G7 about two months ago. The following message appeared on boot once after a BIOS update, around the time I first got it. It happened again this morning.
HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem
HP Sure Start detected a write access failure in the HP Endpoint Security Controller. The repeated occurrence of this problem indicates a security concern that should not be ignored. See the HP Sure Start events in the Windows Event Log for more details about each Sure Start event.
There aren't any events in the HP Sure Start event log from today. The BIOS is password protected.
What does this error mean and how do I resolve it?
Thanks
