I have a Windows 10 Notebok (15-F233WM Energy Star). The screen has stopped working and I want to convert the into a Cromebook device and transplant it into a Modular Console to use it to interface with my UAV. In order to get the most out of this setup I need to swap the broken non-touch screen with a touchscreen. Im fairly certain that the Cromebook software covers all the necessary software modifications to accomodate a touch screen. But will the hardware accomodate a non-OEM model? Ive searhed high and low on the net and cant find any info on where this has been done before. Was hoping to get some insight here.
