Product: HP Notebook 15- da0032wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
I purchased this computer about a year ago, always had it plugged in and I was constantly getting error messages about an invalid CMOS and the computer would "fix" the problem. One day recently I did a systems check and it said I needed to replace the battery immediately., the main battery would not hold a charge, reading 0 amps. Do batteries deteriorate in a short period of time? Does this mean the CMOS battery should be replaced also? I have never bought a laptop that has had it's battery fail this quickly.
