Product: probook 450 g4

When I press my space key it stops whatever the next key i press is. e.g. If I press "space" then "j" the j doesn't appear. It also doesn't make a space. I've tried keyboard tests online and they say I'm pressing tilde<`~> when I press space.

External keyboards work perfectly fine.

 

I have tried:

  • Reinstalling drivers.
  • Disabling sticky keys, filter keys, etc.
  • Pressing win+space.
  • Running a separate installation of windows from another hard drive.
  • Run windows updates.
  • Replace the keyboard.

For now I have rebound another key to space, which works, but isn't great.

I can't find anything mentioning this kind of behavior online.
