Elitebook 2570p
Linux

After many times of running Linux Ubuntu from my USB-stick, I decided to install it properly and remove Windows to get access to my laptops full capacity of 500GB. So I did. I clicked install linux instead of try it. Everything went successfully, but when booting the laptop up, I get presented with:

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI

Version 1.6.0.0 - BIOS

Memory test

Hard drive check

Language

Exit

I can freely move my selection over the given options and I tried doing the memory test, which gave me PASSED. I couldn't do neither the quick nor the long hard drive check because they were NOT AVAILABLE. I could go back to main menu and select exit, which Gives me an error on a proccess called intializing and establishing link. After that:

BootDevice Not Found

Please install and operating system on your hard disk.

Hard disk (3F0)

F2 System diagnostics - (redirects back to main menu)

The Linux Ubuntu OS should have been already installed, but even if it wasnt, I couldn't install it because I had no option to. I think I have described the situation quite well but if someone needs more describing I'm happily willing to share it. If anyone knows more about this problem or how to get the Elitebook 2570p laptop back up and running (with whatever OS), please, write about it!
