HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion N066US
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have HP Pavilion 15 model 15-n066us, [personal information removed].    On the physical Wifi card listed as Atheros AR5B125, spare P/N 6757994-001, HP P/N 670036-001.  When I click on System the Wifi card listed as  QUALCOMM Atheros AR9485 (same as in the manual Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter)

Now, I would like to upgrade this to faster speed (the fastest it can handle 500 Mbps or even 1Gbps if possible) and dual channel 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.

Some replacement sold on the web site saying it does not support HP/Compaq even they are also Mini PCIE

M.2 NGFF Wireless Wifi 802.11AC 867 Mbps Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 Bluetooth 2.4/5Ghz.  This is the one I want but hesitate to purchase because I am not sure it will work with my laptop and I would like to make sure to get the correct one

This one below should be ok if I can't find anything faster than 300mbps,

Atheros AR9382 AR5BHB116 300Mbps 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi Mini PCI-E Wireless Card

Please advise,

Thank you very much
