my Pavilion g6 notebook is old and the internal fan died years ago...i place a huge "Windmachine" by Lasko parallel to the vent holes so the Pavilion g6 wont overheat....but when i use the fan for something else the Notebook will either shutoff suddenly or if i try to put it to sleep it doesn't wake up even after unplugging the power. I found out that you have to let the internal thermistor reset after unplugging and cooling down the Notebook...It takes about 10 minutes to reset. The Notebook works fine after this and it brings up Windows 10 fine....just thought someone else might be experiencing this also so i posted  this
