HP ProBook 470 G0
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had updated the HP ProBook 470 G0 to latest BIOS version (F.66 Rev.A) from 2017; then I set up the BIOS Adminsitrator Password in the hope that the TPM chip might be selectable/activated for Bitlocker Encryption later on (does not show up as a selectable option).

Then I installed HP Client Security Manager (latest version), adding a password to the user, setting up th three security questions, activating the finger print sensor successfully but skipping the Drive encryption. After finishing th setup, I rebooted the machine.

When turning it on, screen shows the "press the ESC key for Startup Menu" in the lower left corner of the screen, but ignores any key stroke - hitting the "ESC" key yields nothing. Its sitting there unable to proceed (even to the Startup or BIOS menu.

Changing the RTC-battery after disassembling did not help; Trying to restore BIOS typing "Win"+"B" did not restore BIOS; CAPS Key LED is flashing every second as part of this exercise.

I am completly left out 😞 - Please help
