HP ProBook 470G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

From the manual for the HP ProBook 470G5:

HP USB-C Dock G4 Supports: Dual 2K @ 60Hz OR Single 4K @ 60Hz (3840 x 1440) 1xHDMI, 2xDP ( assume the 1440 is a misprint and they mean 2160).

So, first of all, can the dock support 2x 3440x1440 monitors? The spec might be simplified and it could actually have the bandwidth to run it. 9.9m pixels vs 4k's 8.3m pixels.

Second of all, if that's not possible. Does the DP on the laptop itself provide additional bandwidth, while using the dock? Or is the graphics card limiting the use of both due to internal bandwidth? So could I run one monitor on the dock, and one on the DP port on the laptop?

Or do I just need the HP Thunderbolt Dock 120w G2? The manual for the laptop lists it as supporting 2x 4k@60hz.
