Hi, I've been trying to use a usb stick to upgrade the bios using the power on+ win key+b key method , but I cant get through. The laptop (ProBook 4530) caps lock blinks continuously, black screen, fan spinning fast.

BTW, I'm using this method because the Bios is not saving any configuration changes I try to make. It just freezes at the save and exit instruction. The diagnostic tests show no errors whatsoever. Bios only saves date and time after removing and putting back cmos battery.
