Hi, I have a HP Spectre laptop, about 1.5+ years old. About couple of months ago, the laptop gave a message saying that IHP recommends setting battery charging to 80% in the bios to extend battery life - till then it was 100%. Now it gave a message stating battery should be tested using the pc diagnostics. Running that gave a message that logic state is weak and charge state is ok.
Does this mean (a) Battery may need replacement soon? (b) Is it expected that battery life falls in just 1.5 years? (c) What should I make out of the failure ID given below?
Testing with HP support Assistant gave the following:
