Just bought an HP Spectre Rechargeable Mouse 700 from the HP store to match my Spectre laptop. The first step in the setup instructions is to go to hp.com/support and install software, but the HP site does not recognise the serial number, and a search for the product number in Drivers produces "We were unable to find drivers for your product." The product page has no drivers or manuals other than PDF copies of the leaflets that came in the package. There are no instructions for pairing in the leaflets - they say you need to download manuals including an HP Bluetooth Pairing User Guide. I can probably muddle through. but this is incredibly frustrating.
