Product: HP stream
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • HP Stream eMMC drive not detected in Windows setup.  I bought a 14” inch stream that was missing the separate eMMC hard drive board. I bought a used one off of eBay. When I went to install Win10 operating system, the drive does not show up in the boot options. I am able to get through most of the Win 10 install but then it fails and comes back to the install Windows 10 page. If I exit it says the drive could not be authenticated. I have tried this several times.  same result. Also when it fails the touchpad and keyboard do not work.  Am wondering if the motherboard is the problem , not the eMMC drive.
