Hello all,
I have some difficulties starting my laptop lately. I regularly use HP Support Assistant, but the last 5 years it did not show any updates. While I think of it, it did not show any significant updates at all. My HP Support Assistant version is 8.8.34.31
My notebook is a HP Pavilion 15-n213ed with the following product number: F9G11EA#ABH
My BIOS-version is, according to the specifications in HP Support Assistant and msinfo32, F.42 (Insyde F.42, 4-12-2013).
If I look at the dedicated HP support page of my notebook (https://support.hp.com/nl-nl/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-n200-notebook-pc-series/6529948/mode...) , I see all kinds of updates that HP Support Assistant never brought forth.
So my questions are:
1) Does my HP Support Assistant work propertly?
2) Do I need to update my BIOS?
3) There are three different BIOS versions on the dedicated support page: F.71 Rev.A, F.66 Rev., F.67 Rev.A. Which one do I need? Could I just pick the most recent one and update my BIOS version in one go?
Thank you guys in advance!
