HP Sure Start preventing boot

If the HP ProBook 640 G4 is connected to the HP Ultraslim Docking Station during boot, the system freezes when HP Sure Start is being shown on the screen. No progress is being shown or indicated, just the logo. This problem does not occur if the HP Ultraslim Docking Station isn't connected during boot.

Everything was working fine a few week ago.

I've tried updating the BIOS version: 01.02.03 to the latest version:  01.06.03 through Network BIOS Update. The update was successful, but it didn't solve the problem with HP Sure Start.

Is there any known solution for this problem?
