HP Laptop - 15-ef0038ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had to reinstall Windows and for some reason it installed the Windows USB Video driver.  It works but at a resolution of 160 x 120.  Tried updating drivers via the website, it suggests SP100585 but for whatever reason that doesn't work.  Won't take the drivers from that, almost as if this is the incorrect driver.  Pointing device manager at C:\SWSetup\SP100585 doesn't work either, it just won't install.     Numerous postings on here about getting drivers for HP TrueVision HD webcams but nothing that actually has a solution that works.

Support is telling me this is a software issue but if HP's own drivers won't install I am not sure what to do.  I am at a loss what to try next.  Anyone got any ideas?
