HP EliteBook 1030 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a HP EliteBook 1030 G1 with a HP USB-C Dock G4. When I connect the USB-C to the notebook it comes with an USB device error in Windows and everything, like network, audio, etc. is working fine, except the two EliteDisplays 24 inch which are connected by Displayports. They stay disconnected, as they do not receive any activity at all. Other notebooks are working fine on the dock. The firmware on the dock is the latest (F.33).

I also installed drivers on the notebook, like the driver from the USB Universal dock and Displaylink, but nothing worked. Also tried another G4 dock with the same notebook with the same result.

I know the notebook is not in the list with compatible devices if you look at the specs for the G4 dock, but the Macbook isn't too and that one is working fine.

Does anyone know what this could be or has the same problem? And is there a solution?

Thanks in advance!
