Hello All,
We have a ProBook 430 G2 which was recently upgraded (clean install) from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 x64 -1809. The laptop seems to have no issues apart from its modem, HP hs3110.
In case it helps, the Hardware ID is: USB\VID_03F0&PID_521D&REV_0001&MI_00
I have downloaded and installed the official drivers (dated back to 2015) from HP's support site, but the device is still recognised as "Generic Mobile Broadband Adapter" with an exclamation sign. I also get an error in the description that the device failed to start.
Even though not proposed, I also tried drivers from other HP laptops (with the same HP hs3110), but all of them failed. Running Windows Update provided no functional driver.
Net Framework 3.5 was also enabled, since in the quite a few similar threads that I found someone proposed to do so, but once again, no luck.
Any help is appreciated.
