Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have HP 245G7 notebook. A few months ago I saw Windows 10 drivers for specifically 2004 version of OS. So I did a clean install of Windows 10 2004 and all drivers worked.

Now I have Windows 10 2004 on this laptop.

When I check the driver page, I now find drivers only for Windows 10 and Windows 10 1909. Even the automated system detects my OS as 1909!!

I wonder why the drivers for 2004 were removed? They were working fine and back then 1909 refused to install stated unsupported OS.

One may argue that it's just the OS that matters not the versions but in my past experience with HP Laptops, any Windows 10 drivers do not work. One designed for 2004 will only work with 2004.

That's why I have been keeping a check on the drivers page every now and then and now 2004 drivers are taken down.

Any explanation shall be great. I tried chat support, but as you might have guessed it, the bot could not understand my query.

Thanks.
