HP 255 G3

Hello, I have a HP 255 G3 and I am having problems with the laptop. The laptop is quite old and it was refurbished with no warranty and it runs Windows 10. The problems I am having with this laptop is doing nothing but getting progressively worse. The first problem started off with the keyboard but despite the keyboard not working the screen was still showing then as I let the laptop rest and set it aside until I get the replacement part which was going to be an easy fix then the screen stop working for some reason it's to the point where the laptop would power on with the fan coming on and you can hear it like making noise then shut off like 3-5 seconds later during it. I really don't know what the problem is but I hope there's a solution I tried doing the hard reset which that didn't work then I tried to reset the ram which that didn't work as well. Like I don't know what to do and if the problem is like the hardware, screen or keyboard replacement that is an easy fix for me but I don't want to spend money on items that doesn't resolve the problem. I just need some help trying to get this laptop to work again as it was before this whole thing starting happening.
