HP Envy 360 m6-103dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Envy touch screen laptop that I bought several years ago with the express purpose of using it to make digital art. At the time, Microsoft had just come out with it's Pen stylus, and I was assured that my laptop supported the device. I already had a perfectly good tablet, and the pen was pricey for me at the time, so I didn't purchase it. However now my tablet is obsolete, so I recently purchased a Bamboo Ink Plus stylus as it said on the website that HP Envy x360 supported it.

I have tried everything under the sun to get this thing to work, including hard resetting my laptop and reinstalling Windows 10, and the stylus connects via bluetooth, and interacts with my windows ink workspace, but does NOT interact with my screen. I've switched protocols on the pen, I've connected and disconnected and reconnected the bluetooth, I've tried resetting the windows ink space, I've reset and updated every driver I can find, and I've used the HP virtual assistant to no avail, and ultimately I've just factory reset my computer and none of it has made a difference. I had emailed the Wacom support center weeks ago, and was finally told today that it's possible my computer doesn't support a pen stylus. (i have been trying to figure this out for two weeks now, can you tell I'm frustrated? lol)

My questions are these:

1)Am I missing something obvious here? Is there a pen stylus that works with my computer model?

2)Does anyone know if the HP Envy x360 m6-103dx supports any pen stylus at all?

3)If it does not, can my touchscreen hardware be upgraded to support a pen stylus?
