Elitebook 840 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an elitebook 840 G6 where I have recently installed a WWAN module (XMM 7360). The WWAN module works properly, however I have noticed significantly decreased battery lifetime since the installation. Investigating the issue further I have identified that there is an increased cpu usage by the process svchost.exe -k LocalServiceNetworkRestricted -p.

Disabling the WWAN module in device manager solved the CPU load issue, however it's not a real solution.

Any suggestion for a real solution that would enable me to use WWAN normally?

Note: the CPU utilization occurs all the time, regardless of WWAN actually used or SIM card inserted. It seems it's called by the pure presence of the WWAN module in Windows.
