I'm having the exact same issue that is shown in this similar thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-Envy-13-2019-Hinge-Issues/m...

I will copy what was said in that thread: "I bought a HP Envy 13 (2019) in September of 2019 so have had the laptop for approximately 8 months. I have noticed an issue with the hardware in which the chassis of the case appear to open slightly when the screen is opened. I have treated the laptop well and whilst this doesn't cause an issue at the moment, I can see that it may become worse in the future, this is not the sort of build quality I would expect for such an expensive laptop. Currently it pops back into place with a little push but this shouldn't happen in the first place. I don't know if there was a dodgy seal just on my particular laptop or if this is an issue throughtout all of them."

The issue is, my warranty has run out. What options do I have to fix a hardware issue that occurred with very light use and no rough handling ever?
