Product: Elite X2

I have a hp Elite X2. I'm working from home during the Covid pandemic and I really need a larger screen for working on this all day.  I have a monitor connected up fine through the USB-c (although inconveniently it used the charger slot) but want to be able to detach and continue to use the keyboard.  Is that possible?

 

Any help gratefully received!
