Sir or Madam,

All too often lately, my Microsoft Display Adapter's projection has been unstable and repeatedly disconnected.  As an alternative, I investigated using Google Chrome and have found the connection is far more stable.  I noted that, especially since the audio on my HP doesn't match the audio on my Vizio while casting, I am able to mute the audio on my HP and still have audio casting to the Vizio.  In similar fashion, I would like to turn off the HP display by, for example, closing the lid and only view the video casting to my Vizio.  When I do close the lid, however, the audio will continue playing along, but the video will freeze at the point when I closed the lid.  Is there a way to do this in the same way I am able to project ONLY to the second screen using an HDMI cord or Microsoft Display Adapter?  Please advise.

Thank you,

JPMcMorrow
