HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

When I brought this HP Spectre x360, the right hinge was slightly loose but I ignored this as I thought it was the norm for it to fully function smoothly to turn into a tablet.

However, as time has passed it became more noticeable which prompted me to do some research. It quickly became apparent to me that this was a common issue for this model to have a defect hinge which I was not initially made aware of.

During the warranty I had called HP support about the defect, but it was shrugged off as not being significant, also I had mentioned that all the rubber feet had randomly fallen off (Which was weird to see for such an expensive device). They said they would at least send me some for me to glue on (but I never received these). After this while during the warranty and then after the warranty has passed I had spoken to John Lewis which is where I purchased the device, who expressed that in order for me to get this resolved I just need a small note from a VAT Registered Engineer from HP to confirm that there is a common issue that the HP Spectre x360 has a defective hinge.

I would like to ask for you to please send me a note that confirms this, so I can get this sorted out.

Thank you.
