I can no longer synchronize mh HP iPAQ 214 Enterprise Handhel with my PC. I had been able to do so until recently. This time I use the cable to connect the two units, as I have been doing for several years, two beeps indicate that the iPAQ 214 has started trying  to connect with he PC, as I can ascertain by looking at Active Synce in the handheld; it goes on for about a minute and then quits without having achieved the connection. Before  used to click on an Icon (short cut on the desktop) that would launch the mobile connection. I do not see that particular icon anymore. I have tried to download Windows mobile 6 to the PC but it is not allowed.  I have windows mobile device center installed and when I click on "WMDC.EXE" it gives the impression of starting -little round blue circle that rotates for few seconds- but does not launch any program. There in no communication between my iPAQ 214 handheld and my PC windows 10.  Thanks for advice.
