HP ENVY Notebook - 17-s066nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I replaced the battery (twice), it charges fine but the system does not recognize that there is a battery is installed.  HP assistant and Hardware diagnostics says it is charged , but says there is no battery detected.

The first battery was hard to seat, but charged just fine.  I spoke with tech support and they said it could be a bad battery,  so I purchased another battery pack.

The second battery is doing the same thing!

If you have any ideas please pass them along.  I am not sure if this is something to worry about or not, but it bothers me.

Thanks,

GRD-Lock
