About a month ago. My original hard drive crashed. Well HP sent me a new hard drive but with no os so I had to install windows 10 home myself. When I got this laptop it came with M.2 optane. Ever since then it doesn't work. so, I've been trying to get it working again. I've tried running Rapid Storage Technology and the brings up you are trying to install this software on an unsupported platform.
I've tried Optane Memory and Storage Management and it says to install the latest driver for RST which I've done. That one brings up an error code 0xA00906B3. I've tried looking for the optane drive info in the BIOS and it shows nothing about it.
BIOS: Insyde F.27, 8/5/2021.
BIOS Mode: UEFI
Core i7-8550u
7th/8th gen intel processer.
I know the optane my laptop came with is no longer being made. So, if possible I would like to put in an Intel Optane H10 with solid state storage.
So, if anybody has any ideas that I could try it would be very apprecited.
Thank you
