HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-df0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I feel as though I have spent countless hours of my life trying to find a solution to my internal microphone. I cannot recall when it stopped working, but it has been a long time I've been without my internal microphone. 

 

System is updated, all drivers are updated, troubleshooting says there is nothing wrong (including HP Support Assistant), microphone is detected but it does not hear any sound. I have uninstalled the drivers and restarted, still no luck.

 

I am concerned this issue is deeper than a simple fix in which I hope to not have to resort to a complete system reset. 

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.
