eMachines EL1331
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a eMachines 64 bit EL1331 and it says it's connected to internet when you look at it. But when I go to Chrome, it says no internet. So, I went to my settings and connected the broadband connection. But when I do it says:

 

Connecting through WAN miniport (PPPOE)

Error 651: the modem (or other connecting device) has reported an Error.

 

When I open internet explorer the internet works, but if I try and update the computer it won't let me because of no internet....

 

I also don't have the bars to show wifi, it just shows a computer with a plug on the left hand side.
