I think my GPU is broken, or maybe my motherboard is. Basically: Windows won't start except in safe mode or with a disabled graphics adapter (AMD FirePro M4000). I've tried several different GPU drivers to no avail. Only the Standard VGA graphical adapter works. There's also an Intel Core i7 3630QM processor in this elitebook, which has the Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Now my question: is it possible to use the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 with this particular elitebook? Its adapter doesn't show under display adapters, I can't seem to install its drivers, there is nothing in the BIOS (newest version) which has anything to do with the graphics card...
I don't have warranty anymore, and I don't have enough money to send it in for repairs.
Any help is much appreciated.
