Pavilion 800
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

our company did select a group of employees to test & review different hardware, since quite some office places shall be newly equipped with wireless keyboars/mouses and new monitors.

One of the best rated keyboard/mouse solutions was HP Pavilion 800; but suprisingly we realised that we cannot "fix"/"unfix" the FN button. Meaning, that FN-functionalities (eg. volume up/down, screen light, etc.) are always active; and system buttons (F1 to F12) can only be used when pressing at the same time FN.

This is obviously a big issue when anyone want to "work" with this keyboard; since nearly all software solutions make active use of F1...F12 functions (windows, excel, CAD, tableau, power bi, .... literally all.. even internet explorer chrome/firefox :D).

I can really not imagine that such a high-priced keyboard does not offer this functionality - Could you please advise how to solve this issue, or provide any suitable workaround?

If not, this keyboard is rather sutiable for someone turning spotify volume up and down than for using it to actually work...
