Hi All,

Not sure if you have come across a fix for this?

Unable to update BIOS LAN / WLAN Auto Switching via Script or BiosConfiguraitonUtility. I have in past been successful using the below,

lFlags = wbemFlagReturnImmediately + wbemFlagForwardOnly
strService = "winmgmts:{impersonationlevel=impersonate}//"
strNamespace = "/root/HP/InstrumentedBIOS"
strQuery = "select * from HP_BIOSSettingInterface"
Set objWMIService = GetObject(strService & strComputer & strNamespace)
Set colItems = objWMIService.ExecQuery(strQuery,,lFlags)

For each objItem in colItems
objItem.SetBiosSetting oReturn, "LAN/WLAN Switching", "Enable"

but now it seems the BIOS doesnt have this value, nor can I see any reference to the name under BIOSSettingInterface.

Only in the class HPBIOS_BIOSEnumeration can it be found, but wont allow to set the value "enable" on " LAN / WLAN Auto Switching ".

So I tried the HP BiosConfigurationUtility using

BIOSCONFIGUTILITY set "LAN / WLAN Auto Switching"=Enable

Again no joy, Any Ideas?
