Omen Laptop - 15t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On 7/09/2020, Narukegogeta posted the identical issue which appears not to have been resolved.

Laptop Bluetooth works normally on start-up, but after an inconsistent amount of time, the Bluetooth gets disabled and the following error appears in device manager: "This device has failed and is undergoing a reset. (Code 54)." Restarting the laptop fixes the issue momentarily but on a future subsequent boot (days or weeks later), the same issue happens.  I tried updating by removing and reinstalling the Intel Wireless Bluetooth from the device manager, I replaced the Bluetooth drivers, bios, and windows 10 has been updated.  All firmware updates have also been applied.  HP Support Assistant finds no issues.  This affects both my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.  Looking at the Device Manager, the only peculiar item I see is one of the drivers listed is from ESET - all others are from Microsoft.  I have the ESET antivirus device endpoint security disabled but maybe the ESET driver and ESET software are the culprit?  I can go weeks and not have it happen again, but some weeks it will happen two or three times.
