Hi folks
I have a brand new HP EliteBook 850 G7 with a Thunderbolt Dock G2 (with audio) and 2 x27"Samsung Monitors.
I use the laptop lid screen when on the road, and in the office keep the laptop lid shut and use the 2 large monitors, connected via the dock. It all works well in normal use.
However, if I needed to reboot the laptop, then on the monitors I see a black screen with HP SureStart for some seconds, and then (I think) it continues the reboot process on the laptop lid screen. I must open the laptop lid to continue the boot process and logon. I then need to unplug the laptop from the Thunderbolt Dock and replug it to have the monitors recognised by the laptop. It is somewhat like is as described here:

That link doesn't 100% apply to my issue (no looping), however I was looking for some guidance as to what could be done to rectify this. Clearly it is annoying to open the lid, login, unplug/replug, then shut the lid again. The laptop is placed "out of the way" from the keyboard so would prefer not to do this.
Many thanks.
