Product: Elitebook 8470p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Fresh install of Windows 7 upgraded to windows 10 1803

After commnig out of standby the machine is usable for about 10-20 seconds before it turns off.   

I have run HP Support Assistant and it is fully patched. I am also running bios F.73

 

I don't think it is thermal related.  I can run the system for hours without an issue. 

 

I put in another dirve and install FreeBSD.   The same thing happens.  The laptop turns off after returning from standby.
