Every time this issue occurs (description below), Event Viewer logs the following:

After a while of using any application (including Word, Zoom, Chrome), my laptop display hangs and then the whole system completely locks up. Mouse jumps when trying to navigate and after 5-10s also completely gets stuck. System is then unresponsive for around15 minutes (!), after which the display goes black and then resets and everything is back to normal. At this point I do a restart just to clear the system. If I'm in a zoom meeting and this happens i just press and hold the power button because I can;t wait 15mins for the system to respond.
Sometimes I am able to get the mouse to move, and though it jumps around, i am able to right click the Windows button, after some lag the menu shows up, click Shutdown or Signout (again after some lag), and eventually click restart. Even on the restart screen I can see the animating spinning dots struggle and freeze. Its a brand new model laptop, with everything up to date according to Windows Update and HP Support Assistant.
I have done a clean installation of Windows 10 and problem still persists. Also the same with a clean factory HP installation. The problem was also present on Windows 10 v1909. Updating video drivers through AMD also has not resolved the issue.
Kindly any help?
